Company Reorganization

 

When my boss taught me about Company Reorganization, she used cognitivist theories to help me think through decisions.

 

It was clear that she was preparing me to lead future company reorganizations and thus she did not just want me to process the decisions she had made, but to be able to create my own reorganizations based on sound principles and reasoning.

 

Her instruction focused on my ability to reason and apply relevant people strategy principles in new contexts. It wasn't sufficient that I produce the correct answer, I had to talk through my ideas and hold them up to questioning.
